Question

Combine the Agreement and Certificate of Completion as one file to download

I’m having an issue downloading the signed agreement with the certificate of completion as one file only.  I do not need the disclosures.  Selecting to download all documents as one file adds 3 pages of disclosures which are not needed.  Is it possible to combine the signed agreement with the certificate of completion only and download?  If so, how is this accomplished?  If not possible, could Docusign please consider it and make it available in the future?

Hi @elram1,

We appreciate you reaching out to the Docusign Community and are delighted to have you join us.

We understand your concern about downloading completed documents that include the Certificate of Completion. We apologize for the inconvenience, and I’ll be glad to help you with this.

Docusign does not currently provide an option to combine only selected documents from an envelope with the Certificate of Completion into a single PDF. The “Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure Statement” is automatically included in the CoC if the account-level setting “Require signature disclosure” is enabled when the envelope is sent. If the disclosure statement is removed, it may invalidate the document, depending on the type of signature or applicable legal requirements.

As a workaround, you can download the signed document and the Certificate of Completion separately, then merge them into a single PDF using a third-party PDF tool. Or you may adjust account settings to avoid requiring the disclosure when it is not needed, but this affects compliance and may not be suitable for all use cases.

I hope the information provided is helpful.
