Waiting Notations re: Sent Envelope

I prepared and sent an envelope out last week to four separate signatories.  Each person who is supposed to sign the agreement has a separate signature line with date.  I placed date and signature fields where shown, then sent the envelope. However, I received a message that the receivers didn’t get the envelope.  Why not?

Hi @LegalLady,

Welcome to the Docusign Community. We are very sorry to hear that your signatories did not receive the envelope notifications. I understand how frustrating it is to prepare a document carefully only to have it delayed, especially when you have multiple lines timed out for four separate people.

There are several factors why recipients might not receive an email notification. The most common reasons can be found in this link:

Why aren't my signers receiving DocuSign notification emails?

To further investigate what is blocking these deliveries, please send us the unique Envelope ID for each envelope in question via Private message.

If you are unsure where to find this, you can follow the official step-by-step instructions in the Docusign Support Guide on Locating an Envelope ID.

The quickest way is usually to log in, click your Agreements tab, find the specific Document, click the Document, under the Envelope Name, select Envelope ID, and look for the 32-character string listed right underneath the email subject line.

Once we have the Envelope IDs, we will be able to review the backend status and logs for each envelope. This tracking data will reveal exactly where the emails are stalled.

I look forward to your response. Have a great day ahead.

Best Regards,
