ID Verification

When adding the ID Verification on an envelope I am not receiving an actual copy of the ID the client has uploaded. I’m only receiving notice that they “Passed” the verification

hello my friends.  just looking at adding the new docusign functionality for data verification to my application process.  i am wondering how other organizations are using the data they get back to make decisions or are you using it in the envelope on the fly to force the correct response?

DocuSign identification with IDnow for Romania

Hi, I am based in Romania and I am trying to sign a document in DocuSign that requires identification with IDnow. I was told (via browser and mobile app) that for Romania I need to have both my national id card and a passport. I don’t have a passport and it takes up to 3 weeks to obtain one. I need to sign the document asap. What can I do ? Thanks.

ID Evidence with Liveness - copies of ID stored

 We are currently testing ID Evidence in our DocuSign account. In order to allow this to be used across the organisation, our compliance team need a short summary around where the ID Evidence data is stored to ensure our privacy policy is up to date and to satisfy a few other requirements. From the documentation we can see that it says it is stored in 'the DocuSign service' and only the sender can access. However, I can't see anywhere that refers to what the 'DocuSign Service' store is other than (for us in Europe) it's a data centre in the EU. Can someone help me explain in layperson terms where the ID data is stored, in what format, and how security is guaranteed? I have raised a support call a few days ago but I’m just being directed to the support pages, which doesn’t give me what I need, and this is holding back my testing now.

hi i’ve received an email saying‘You must have your identity verified remotely by a certifying agent from the company IDnow, a DocuSign partner, then create a qualified electronic signature which will be stored in your personal IDnow account.’how do i go about doing this. any help much appreciated

IDV EU Advanced with Liveness - Name Matching

While using IDV EU Advanced with Liveness, name matching is failing when we use National ID. To be specific, we use Emirates ID as the National ID for United Arab Emirates.Our National ID incorporates both the holder's full name and either the parent's or spouse's full name.To illustrate, if my full name is AAA BBB and my father's name is CCC DDD, then my ID would display as AAA BBB CCC DDD.Despite entering the precise name as indicated on the ID into DocuSign Recipient Name details, the matching process fails. Does anyone has insights into the underlying logic behind the ID name matching process?

Camera Access

I am attempting to onboard with a company, and they need to verify my identity. When I click the link on my mobile device, I am directed to a page instructing, “When prompted, you must enable camera access to continue.” However, I never receive the prompt. My permissions are fine, I’ve restarted my phone, and I’ve tried multiple browsers. This section absolutely has to be done on mobile apparently. My device is Android.

Docusign ID Verification simply does not work

Hi!We contracted the Docusign ID Verification to validate the face and document of our signatures.I opened a case in October/2023 and since then I have no response anymore. They know the problem exists but don't fix it.Any ideas? The first trials the verification entered a loop and now it takes 3 minutes to validate a face, which is ridiculous.

Hi Everyone. We have a client sending us a Docusign email to a distro list, when someone clicks the link it tried to open with their account and essentially getting an Authentication error that the information provided does not match the email addres

The client who is sending it believes they are sending it correctly but does he needs to create a signing group to send this too? Basically we need the email to go to our distro list for everyone to view, its not a signed document, just a very important document being sent to us via docusign.

Is it possible to define two (or more) Identity Providers for Organisation?

Technically it is possible, but for me it is not working.My Customer use G-suite for Identity Management and SSO in G-suite works perfect. But they have some other Companies in group and not every of them uses G-suite. I am quite new in IdP and have no idea how to help to Customer (and if there is any solution). We would like to open new account in Organisation for another Company in a group, but they are using Azure for IdP, then we should define the second IdP to use SSO for them.I have tried to define two identity providers - Azure and G-suite. Lets say I have two email addresses: MyName@domain1 registered in Azure MyName@domain2 registered in G-SuiteCase 1: I login using 1st address (Azure), on the second step I use "Use Company Login" button and the system ask me for Google account login (or to choose the account - I have two)Case 2: login using 2nd address (G-suite) - same situation but in this case everything is ok, because I expected it will happen.I tried to make te

How do I sign a knowledge base authentication when it is not even allowing me to get to the security question screen?

For the past few days and more then 8 hours of phone calls between the sender, docusign, and lexisnexis I am still where I started at. I am beyond frustrated! I am trying to sign a loan document that requires me to pass the security questions. The first screen is the ID check which goes to an error message "unable to find your name in the public information database" - I called lexisnexis to verify that they can access my information and that the information I am entering is is exactly the same as what they have. They state all is well on their end. I called docusign, spoke with 2 tier operators twice - had my sender on a 3 way - shared my screen and nothing. Docusign says ask the sender to remove the security - sender requires it and will not remove it. Lexisnexis states no problem on their end and docusign states it is lexisnexis. I can never get past the ID check! There has to be a way to resolve this. From reading the questions, this problem has happened before

How do I enable KBA based Authentication for my envelope recipients? I found some information here: https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/ndse-user-guide-recipient-authentication but i am not sure where set this up from my admin portal. Also, what are the additional costs associated with this approach?
