Hi Team,My company has the docusign IAM Standard plan. And I have the admin status. While sending envelopes, I am trying to create custom tabs to include in the envelope. But when I click on Save, I am seeing the following error - This Account lacks sufficient permissions to use custom tab (screenshot shared for reference). Docusign AI says that my current plan includes this feature. In that case, can you kindly help me understand what this error means and how to resolve it?Thanks!Best Regards,Pallavi

I have an issue with the In-Person templates I’ve created. And hoping someone can help me with a work around. Here is the situation…..the designer/sender is in the clients home. They design and sell the job. The Sender fills and signs the contract and because it’s in person the sender is the “Host” for the client. The client signs. But the contract is not finalized because we want the designer / sender to go home and upload their confidential pricing worksheet to the contract. Once they’ve uploaded this the Contract is complete. BUT because the host is the designer/sender for the client. The Client can now see the confidential pricing. The Document Visibility is invalid when the host is the sender. I tried to password protect the pdf but DocuSign doesn’t allow pw protected documents. Is there another way yo encrypt the confidential pricing or a different way to set up the envelop template?Thank you so much for your time***attachments removed due to PII**

Hi everyone,I’m integrating DocuSign with a C# application. Before sending an envelope, I want to validate the recipient’s email address.Currently, I can perform basic format validation, for example checking whether the email has a valid format such as user@company.com.However, I would like to know if there is a recommended way in the DocuSign API/SDK to determine whether the recipient email address actually exists and is deliverable before sending the envelope. For example: Can DocuSign validate whether the mailbox actually exists? Is there an API or recommended approach to check email deliverability before creating/sending the envelope? If the email is invalid or undeliverable, can I detect this before the envelope is sent? Any guidance on the recommended approach would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since early October 2026, embedded signing with focused view fails on our demo account. The signer sees "This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue." inside the focused-view iframe. The browser console shows:Framing 'https://demo.docusign.net:7802/' violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-src 'self' https://docucdn-a.akamaihd.net/ https://apps-d.docusign.com https://demo.docusign.net ..."Nothing changed on our side: the same code that worked in September fails now, and displayFormat: "default" still works with the same envelopes, so the integration key, recipient view request and frame settings are valid. What we foundWe reproduced it with plain HTTP requests, outside our app and outside any browser. docusign.js (0.0.61, widget @embedded/signing-ui 1.0.221) appends platform=focused to the recipient view URL. With that parameter, the redirect chain ends like this:demo.docusign.net/Signing/MTRedeem/v1/... → account-d.docusign.com/managed_toke

I noticed that Docusign recently changed the options for how agreements can be displayed. There is no longer a sent option. Does anyone know if there is a way to change it back? Once a document is completed, I have further action outside of Docusign that I need to take, so by having my completed documents all show up in the Completed list display once they are done, I have to now keep a list to track which Completed ones I have processed. When everything showed up in my Sent display, I could move the completed documents to a folder and know they were fully complete. Any ideas?

No matter how well I line up my fields when preparing an envelope, they are ALWAYS out of alignment post signing. What am I doing wrong? This makes my signed documents look terribly untidy, no matter how much I try.Example here where the fields are perfectly aligned and centred within each section of the document. However, the final result has them both unaligned on the left-hand side, and also out of alignment with my document.

I am customising Subject when creating envelope using C# SDK. But the Email receive by Signer is below one. Kindly help on this

Has anyone else had people complain about email subject lines coming from your Docusign account with this as the Subject line?Do you recognize this document? My clients are pushing back, not signing, and slowing down the legal approval process.  They fear that it is spam, even when being sent by Docusign. Then, when the document is signed and sent back to myself for signature it has the same Subject line.  It is like Docusign itself is sending emails that feel like Phishing emails to end users and customers alike.

I need to contact the support because the signing process of one of my files does not work. When I try to access the support chat here, nothing happens when pressing the button. There is also no html behind the button I could copy to another browser. It’s not working in Chrome (incognito & normal mode), Firefox, Safari  I also can not access any other type of support since I’m not a paying member. I also can’t log in to the support page, because first I’d need to open a chat - which is not working.

Hello, We are using embedded signing with the Focused View (DocuSign.js) for a captive recipient (ClientUserId is set) whose recipient definition includes phone-based Identity Verification (RecipientIdentityVerification with a phone_number_list input option). This works correctly in our demo/sandbox environment, but fails in production. In production the Focused View iframe never renders the document, because the identity-verification step attempts to frame https://eu.verify.docusign.net/ and it is blocked by the Content Security Policy served on apps.docusign.com. Browser console error: Framing 'https://eu.verify.docusign.net/' violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-src 'self' https://docucdn-a.akamaihd.net/ https://apps.docusign.com https://na.verify.docusign.net https://eu.docusign.net ... https://verify-d.docusign.net https://verify.docusign.net ...". The request has been blocked. Key point: the frame-src allowlist in that CSP includes https://na.verify.do

Shared Envelopes is a useful feature to share envelopes among a team, and necessary to our workflow. We regularly need to share access to envelopes that are in process.Shared Access requires us to give full access to our accounts to others. This is not useful. I see Shared Envelopes as a legacy feature, but I am not able to activate it. Please reactivate this feature. We have also looked as Workspaces. This does not allow team members to correct envelopes, which is critical to our workflow.

Hi,I am currently setting up DocuSign in the Salesforce production org. After reconnecting from the dev account to the production DocuSign account and recreating the DocGen templates, I started receiving an error when trying to preview a template. My user is a Salesforce System Administrator and have both the DocuSign Administrator and DocuSign Document Generator permission sets assigned. I’m also added as a user in the DocuSign Apps Launcher settings in Salesforce.Could you please help me identify what might be causing this error and whether any additional permissions or configuration are required on either the Salesforce or DocuSign side? Thanks!

I work in our companies AP Department, so the forms I am getting signed are high-cost invoices that need approval before they are paid. Most invoices are valid and are to be paid, but occasionally invoices are not valid and therefore should not be signed. I set up a dropdown with 2 states, Approved, and Disputed. When Approved is selected I have the conditional field set to reveal the signature box, and when dispute is selected, A box appears with “UNDER DISPUTE” in bold. The issue I am running into is that the dropdowns all become connected to each other. I imagine its because I am merging the recipients? Each envelope is a stack of 3 different invoice types that need to be signed off on by 1 to 2 people, with a specific signing order. I use templates for each of the invoice types, but all need to go to A, then some need to go to B when A is done. I HAVE been checking “Set Signing Order”, then changing all of the A signers to 1, then adding the B signer and setting them to 2. I then g

We have a requirement to change the verbiage of the message when the Envelope is voided. We wanted to change this highlighted message. Please let me know if it is possible to change. Regards,Monika

We have created an external app for Connected Fields. The test calls (getTypeNames, getTypeDefinitions, verify) all pass successfully, but when we try to use it on an actual document, we cannot find the field and we cannot use it for verification.Do we need to submit the app to Docusign for review in order to test it on a document? The app is configured as Private distribution, and we don't want it to be public — we just need it to work for our own account.Any guidance would be appreciated.Thank you

I’m a free user and I have an account and password. I cannot open my account. And I would like to see recent documents I have signed

I have a Word template that I populate programmatically using C# and the Open XML SDK. The generated DOCX looks correct when I open it in Microsoft Word. However, when I upload the same DOCX directly to DocuSign and open the document for signing, I notice extra spacing between some characters in two paragraphs. The character spacing appears normal in Microsoft Word but changes when the document is displayed in DocuSign. I have added the screenshot for your reference First image: The generated Word document opened in Microsoft Word, where the character spacing appears normal.Second image: The same document opened in DocuSign for signing, where extra spacing between some characters is visible.I have also verified the font and character-spacing settings in the Word document, and they appear to be normal. Additionally, if I convert the generated DOCX to PDF using Microsoft Word and then upload the PDF to DocuSign, the spacing issue does not occur.Could you please help me understand why thi

Would it be possible to add the "Description" field as a column in the Templates display screen? It would be extremely helpful for Admins & Users when viewing templates to be able to see an expanded Description of the form.

Until recently my colleague used to view all the envelopes, he is part as a signee in his DS In Progress tab.  But suddenly he could not view any of the in-progress envelopes from his DocuSign for some reason.  Any idea why?

What should I do in DocuSign if an envelope has already been sent but is returned with the message:“The documents you sent for electronic signature could not be delivered to this recipient”?Can I correct the recipient’s details and resend the same envelope, or do I need to create a new envelope?

Getting error: JSON heap size limit exceeded while uplaoding document of 4.3 KB from Salesforce: At this line:                 myEnvelope = dfsle.EnvelopeService.sendEnvelope(myEnvelope, false);, this error is returned . Please suggest

Can you verify if there are any active DocuSign incidents? Newly created templates are not saving for users.

Our account includes DocuSign’s Notary On Demand service.  We have a situation in which a witness is a Japanese citizen.  They do not have a US SSN or a current or former US address.  The document is intended for use in the US.  Can we set up a Notary On Demand envelope for this witness?  How would they complete the ID verification in this situation?ThanksTeri
