Hello,     I need to update our Certificate for our DS instance. We use Azure for our binding, I am talking with our SSO admin, he asked if the file is a .xml? I am not sure myself, it is .XML, or .txt, etc?    When I click + Add Certificate, the open page says all files.     When I add the certificate, how do I know that it is operational? How do I verify that it is working? I keep the other one around until it is not required, so I delete it at that point.           Thanks for the help!

Hi,I received the below email from DocuSign who stated my accountant was asking for me to sign my 2024 returns again. I followed up with her after signing to ask her why these were being requested since we signed them last month. She said she has no idea.Kindly advise and see below the emailrom: DocuSign NA4 System <dse_NA4@docusign.net> on behalf of Your Tax Professional via Docusign <dse_NA4@docusign.net>Sent: Monday, May 5, 2025 1:14 PMTo: P***** M******* Subject: Hi, it's T**** D******! We recently switched from DFS to DAL and noticed the “Copy” button within the Agreement tab does not seem to create a Docusign Status record within Salesforce. With DFS: When used the “Copy” button within Docusign portal, a Docusign Status record was created linking it to the parent object from where the original agreement was sent. With DAL: No Docusign Status record is created within Salesforce.

I have an issue with the In-Person templates I’ve created. And hoping someone can help me with a work around. Here is the situation…..the designer/sender is in the clients home. They design and sell the job. The Sender fills and signs the contract and because it’s in person the sender is the “Host” for the client. The client signs. But the contract is not finalized because we want the designer / sender to go home and upload their confidential pricing worksheet to the contract. Once they’ve uploaded this the Contract is complete. BUT because the host is the designer/sender for the client. The Client can now see the confidential pricing. The Document Visibility is invalid when the host is the sender. I tried to password protect the pdf but DocuSign doesn’t allow pw protected documents. Is there another way yo encrypt the confidential pricing or a different way to set up the envelop template?Thank you so much for your time***attachments removed due to PII**

With DAL when sending a contract to the customer, the User and Contact within Salesforce are merged into a single search field. Is there a way to separate User records with Contact records similar to DFS?

I need to contact the support because the signing process of one of my files does not work. When I try to access the support chat here, nothing happens when pressing the button. There is also no html behind the button I could copy to another browser. It’s not working in Chrome (incognito & normal mode), Firefox, Safari  I also can not access any other type of support since I’m not a paying member. I also can’t log in to the support page, because first I’d need to open a chat - which is not working.

I paid a monthly subscription to get some documents signed. I did it with an e-mail account that was invited to a team.Today, I couldn’t access that account. I couldn’t reset the password because it says there’s no account associated to my e-mail. So I created a new account with the same e-mail of the one I had the paid version. Now this new account does not show as paid, and my document is nowhere to be seen. I cannot log in in the support center webpage because I get the error from the attached image, so there is technically no way to contact support for me. I tried a different browser, and I also tried incognito mode. I keep getting the same error. It is urgent that i need my document. How can it be that a paying costumer can get no access to support?

I use docusign in the salesforce platform and am curious if anyone knows how to adjust whether ALL or NONE of the documents generated from a specific DocGen Template can be pre-selected?  Currently, ALL documents are pre-selected...which makes sense for docgen templates that use logic to create specifc docs packages.  We also use certain docgen templates to gain access to a list of documents that we want/need to manually select as options.   When they all pre-select, we have to manually unselect several documents,  which proves to be a huge time s*ck.

Hi DocuSign team and community,I'm running into a blocker on my Developer Sandbox account and would appreciate guidance, as this is preventing me from validating the multi-signer workflow before our production rollout. The problem: I create an envelope from a template with 2 or 3 signers in sequential routing order. After sending, the envelope status shows as Sent in the envelope history, and the history confirms the email was dispatched to the first signer's correct address. However, the email never arrives. Not in Inbox, not in Spam, not in Promotions, not in any folder. Because routing is sequential, signers 2 and 3 are also never notified. What I've already verified on my side: recipient email addresses are correct (double-checked character by character), tested with multiple real email providers (Gmail, Outlook, corporate domain) with the same result across all of them, checked Inbox, Spam, Promotions, All Mail and Trash, the envelope history confirms Sent status with the correct re

Hello, the ‘chat with us’ link doesnt seem to be working, I have tried to follow the guidance provided but still no luck.

Hi, We are currently migrating to DocuSign App Launcher. While the old object is working fine with Salesforce Connect, the new objects fail to insert. I’m trying to create Envelope Status object in Salesforce followed by a Recipient Status when a User uses DocuSign to create envelopes instead of buttons inside Salesforce. It fails to insert Recipient Status giving a required field missing error - which is the previous DocuSign Envelope StatusHas anyone come across such an issue or worked on something similar ?

Hello,I have an existing DocuSign account, and my free trial has recently expired. I can still log in to my account, but when I upload my own PDF document to sign it myself, I receive a message that my free trial has expired and I am prompted to purchase a subscription. My understanding is that DocuSign supports uploading and signing your own documents. I would therefore like to clarify whether this functionality is available on a free plan and, if so, how I can access it using my existing account.I am trying to contact Support, but the Chat with us button does not respond. The callback and email options are disabled for my account. Could a DocuSign representative please help me understand whether I can switch my existing account to a free plan that meets my signing needs?

My lender sent a DocuSign message that required I answer a series of Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) questions. However, NONE of these questions had anything to do with me, my history, vehicles, property owned or resided at, or people who I’ve known. When I answered that I never lived in any of the location, owned any of the vehicles, do not know any of the people listed, etc, the authentication failed and I am unable to sign the documents. I suspect this may be due to the fact I requested LexisNexis to delete my data earlier this year. But why am Ibgetting random questions completely unrelated to me?

We are now required to save each signed document separately that is sent for signatures in a multiple document package. Each saved document must have the Certificate of Completion appended to the end of the esigned document. Is this something that is available or coming so we aren’t spending time and potentially breaking the audit trail by saving separately and manually merging the document and CoC? These are for government transactions.Thank you.

Is it possible to create a PowerForm (accessed via either a link or QR code) that accepts eSignatures from external users? My company works with subcontractors, and we would like them to be able to complete and eSign forms on their phones by simply scanning a QR code.  In this scenario, we would not know any of the user’s information before they went to sign the document.  I wanted to see if this was possible before upgrading our subscription.

Hello, We need to activate EU Qualified Signature on our DS test tenant with Account ID: ********I understand that this can be done via the DS community Best regards, Yves **PII removed**

I’m currently on the business standard plan but need to send a 1 time bulk envelope to about 70 recipients.  Recipients are in a .csv file.Is there a way to do this without having to upgrade my entire plan for this one time?

Hi, hoping a moderator can help with a billing issue. Account: Clayton Owens, c***@******n.com, Account ID ******8285 (now on Free plan). Aug 11, 2026: subscribed to eSignature Standard, presented as $30/month billed monthly (Amex ending 1004). Sep 11: charged $30 again. Sep 15: cancelled — confirmation said the subscription would end Oct 10 and switch to Free. Oct 10: charged $300. I understand this was the remaining balance on an annual-billed-monthly plan. I'm asking for a goodwill refund: the plan was presented as a monthly subscription, I cancelled in good faith before the charge, the account is Free, and I haven't used the paid service since cancelling. In-app chat confirmed my Free status but couldn't connect me to live support, and email cases aren't available on the Free plan. Could someone please help? Thank you.

Hi everyone! I’m Mary, a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Docusign, focused on helping customers get more value from their agreement workflows. I’m excited to connect with this community and learn how different teams are approaching document generation. One recent Templates update I’m excited about is support for third-party dynamic table filters in Agreement Template Builder and Word Template Assistant. This makes it easier to bring only the most relevant data into a generated document, helping teams create more tailored outputs while reducing manual cleanup.I’d love to learn from the community: how many document generation templates are you currently managing in Docusign, and how many templates were you managing before Docusign? What has made the biggest difference in keeping your template library manageable?

I have some questions about how sender-hosted In Person Signing works and what records it produces. In the PDF of a completed envelope, the document metadata shows a creation date/time and a modification date/time (Producer: PDFKit.NET). Which DocuSign events do these two timestamps correspond to, for example envelope creation or sending for the first, and completion/sealing for the second? In a sender-hosted In Person Signing session, which steps must be completed between the moment the envelope is sent and the moment it is completed: acceptance of the Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure (if enabled), display of the documents, adoption of a signature, completion of each signature field, Finish, the optional signer e-mail prompt, and the host registering the session as complete? Does DocuSign require a minimum time or a scroll-through of the documents before the signature fields can be completed? For an in-person signer, what does the Certificate of Completion record: the host's

When i send documents under part 11 to patients for their signatures and initials. They keep stating that it constantly logs them out after every signature and initial, is there a way to prevent that as patients get frustrated to sign any document digitally in this manner? Or is there a reason for this automatic log out and have to log back in?

The new user interface is terrible, I am a real estate broker and need to review legal documents for accuracy while placing signature and initial fields. At 125% document zoom, the fixed recipient/Fields panel and fixed document-navigation panel consume so much horizontal space that the contract is not readable. Reducing document zoom defeats the purpose: at 35%, interface elements such as the recipient's name are several times larger than the contract text. The right-column navigation bar needs to be collapsable, and the Name and Date panel (on the left), need to be shrunk - significantly - to allow users to read the legal contracts they’re working on.

No matter how well I line up my fields when preparing an envelope, they are ALWAYS out of alignment post signing. What am I doing wrong? This makes my signed documents look terribly untidy, no matter how much I try.Example here where the fields are perfectly aligned and centred within each section of the document. However, the final result has them both unaligned on the left-hand side, and also out of alignment with my document.

Hello, I often need to place my initials on every page in large documents. These documents are often scans of original documents. Is there a way to automate placement of initials on all pages?  Thanks,J
