Bulk send

Hi, I just created a template and am trying to bulk send and getting an error message about switching to v2. Why would I be getting that error when I just created this template? The instructions to bulk send are not very helpful

Template PM not sticking

I have created a template that is not behaving.The private message is not sticking when template applied to the document for ONE of the recipients (a witness). The PM for the other 4 recipients work…… Any ideas?

How to edit the appearance of the Payment Item

Hi, still new, 2nd question, Day 1… thanks for your patience.I placed a payment item on the last page of a power form.  when I review the form, as the end user, the payment item is mearly an icon with text.  It has no purpose. When the form is finished the payment gateway opens as it is intended. all fine there.My question is how do I place the payment item, but not show on the form?  Thank you.See attached PDF

How to edit where the start tab is located on form/template

I’m very new to Docusign. Day 1… Almost everythig is very straight forward. Except for the Start Tab at the beginning of the form.I have a fillable form. A rental application to be exact. when the applicant opens the form, the first thing they see is the Start Tab. The applicant will be inclined to press that tab first, bringing them down to the end of the application, asking for a signature.  The applicant must be directed to fill out the form first before being directed to the signature.How do I edit this?Thank you

HiI would like ask 2 questions for fixing 2 issues: We woukd like add an automatic  retour in a text field. Actually, when the text length is longer we lost the last part iof  the text. Is a solution exist to avoid it? We would create a dynamic field in the welcome message mail (Ex; Hello <last name> ….) Regards

Need to edit my form - Adobe states it has been signed & changing the document is not allowed

In my own template, I need to edit the current PDF form. I select Edit. In the Add Documents section, I select the Download Document for my form. Once I open the downloaded form and select Edit, I receive an error message stating "This document has been signed and can not be edited.” How can I download an unsigned form so that I can edit my form?

We are needing to edit our Bank name in documents in our templates that we have uploaded.  Can someone direct me to where I can find how to do this?  I don’t want to have to redo all of my forms that have required fields it them.  I am new to this, so I am struggling.  Thanks!

one envelope with multiple templates

I want to send an envelope with thee pre-created templates to one recipient. However when I add the three templates to one envelope, only the fields for the signature in the first templates shows up. In the other two templates none of the predefined fields are showing up.How do I add multiple templates for the same recipient, so that all the pre-defined fields are displayed?

Apply Template

I am wondering if I can use the “apply template” option on a document that is already partially filled out? I currently have a template for a form that has several fields tagged for the “client” to fill out. We often know a lot of the client info up front though, and would like to be able to fill out what we do know and then let the template apply to everything that is left to fill in. Is this possible?

Recipient Privelegs

When I try to select “Recipient Privileges” for an EXISTING document, it is greyed out and locked. The feature is enabled in the account. The feature is accessible if I am creating a new template, but for existing templates, it will not allow me to access it. Any suggestions?

Hi,I would like to create a template for 3 persons to fill data in and sign, but before that happens a fourth person (which is also the sender of the document) would need to fill in a text field, but this person is not a signer of the document. Is there any way on how to set this up that I am not aware of? Thanks,Nadine

Bulk template with, specific value assigned to each recipient

I am trying to create a template that can be sent with the bulk feature.  Each recipient has a “committed value” that I would like to have prepopulated before the envelope is sent.  I ran a test by adding a 1st level signer that would be from my organization that could update the value.  I can do that but when I open the envelope there is no way for me to tell who the template will be sent to after I populate the amount.  Is there an easy way to fix this?

Everyone can see Everyone Else's Templates

Everyone can see everyone else’s templates the moment a template is created, even if a mistake. How do we ensure templates are not shared with everyone unless we mean them to be? Is there a way to do this on the account level and not on the individual user level, e.g. to force users to declare who they are sharing with, or the template isn’t shared with anyone, e.g. to default to no one shares with anyone unless they affirmatively select for that template to be shared and say who with?

Custom Text Field - When someone enters text it repeats

I have created a custom text field because I want the char limit to be much more than 4000.  I have added the custom text field in my template and the new char limit I specified worksHere is the issue:Once someone inputs text in the first field, it is repeating / automatically copying that text in all of the custom text fields in the template.  For example, the first custom text field asks the user for their favorite 3 colors: The user enters blue white and greenThe next custom text field (which is asking for different information) is auto populating with the text provided in the first  entered custom text field.  The next custom text field asks for 3 favorite foods - it is auto populating with the 3 colors entered in the first field.  Why is this happening??Any help would be much appreciated!Thanks

Conditional Routing Rules

I have multiple routing rules set up based on a dropdown value.  But, if I try to add anything to that drop down, it tells me I will lose all of my conditional logic I have set up.  That’s a lot of work for our scenario.  I’m wondering if I’m mis-interpreting the message (below)??  I find it hard to believe that I would have to reconfigure all of my conditional routing logic just to add a new value.  Can anyone supply an explanation or set me straight?Thank you.  Susan Deleting Conditional Routing ReferencesThis field is involved in conditional routing rules.  Updating the options series will remove all rules referencing it.  Do you still want to make this change?

Releases

Is there a way to allow senders access to edit fields in a template but not allow them to create a new template?  E.g we have legal releases, we want staff to be able to edit fields in the release but not have the ability to upload a whole new release in the docusign platform- we want to limit that to a narrow group.

Hi all, I just started using DocuSign. I got a template created with the relevant custom fields needed. I need to populate the template automatically from the step before the document signing (the form is coming from TypeForm). How can I link the data to the custom fields? I cannot find anything related to this on the docs.
