Tips from Docusign

By default, all of your users will have access to Docusign Navigator. However, they will only have access to their own agreements. This includes any agreements they sent or received through eSignature, or any agreements they uploaded directly into Navigator.There are a few ways to give users access to additional agreements:An individual user can have access to ALL agreements within Navigator - Careful here! Got a busy week or weekend ahead? Why not schedule your Docusign eSignature envelopes to be sent in the future? With Docusign’s “Scheduled Send” feature, you can schedule your envelopes to be sent in the future based on a specific date and time of your choosing.To set up a Scheduled Send follow the below steps:From the Home page > Click Start > Envelopes > Choose to Send an Envelope OR Use a Template depending on your use case Add or fill in your recipients, customize your messaging > Click Next Drag and drop any necessary fields In the bottom right corner, click the arrow next to “Send” > Click Send Later Choose the Date and Time > Click Send Later  When setting that date and time, the minimum is 30 minutes from the current time. The maximum is 30 days. Review the Time Zone. This is set based on your user preferences in your profile. The scheduled envelope will now appear in your Drafts folder under Agreements Tab - Note you can always click “Continue” on your draf

Reporting in eSignature allows users and administrators to track envelope and recipient activities. Reports can be used to track KPIs, view envelope and recipient data, and monitor account usage. There are 4 report categories to choose from:Envelope: Data on envelopes sent from the account. Available to all users. Recipient: Data on recipient activity for envelopes sent from the account. Did you know that Did you know that eWitness is a feature that enables users to identify one or more individuals to witness the execution of an agreement.  When creating an envelope, senders can choose to configure which recipients require a witness when signing a document. Ever wonder who can see and manage content in Docusign CLM? Anyone with the CLM Admin permission profile can see and manage ALL content within your Docusign CLM account. Beyond that, permissions can be set on folders within CLM.Security can be set based off the individual user (ex: John Doe can access this folder, but Jane Doe cannot), permission profile (ex: CLM Users can access this folder, but CLM Viewers cannot), or user group (ex: users in the Legal group can access this folder but users in the Sales group cannot). Out of the three options, setting security based on the user group is our best practice. It is a happy medium! Setting security based on the user group is not as granular as setting the security for each individual person, but it’s not as broad as setting the security for the two permission profile options.There are different levels of security that can be granted to a folder:No Access: prohibits users from accessing folders or documents.
