Cannot use pre-fill fields with docusign formula to calculate total for a client

Hello! I am working for a client who has contracts with many different services, each with a price set separately for each client. For example, one client can have service A for $100, while another client can have service A for $500. My idea was to create pre-fill fields that would prevent sending a contract without filled prices for each service. After sending, the client would tick check boxes for the services they want, and a final price would be calculated based on the selected services. However, I realized that pre-fill fields (which I want to use to set prices for services before sending) do not work with formulas. Is there any way to get around this issue? Has anyone had the same problem? Many thanks!

A potential workaround would be to add the sender as a recipient, set a signing order, and assign the fields for the pricing to the first recipient(sender) so they can complete the information.
