I need to export 20+ completed (identical template) envelopes sent to different people in a pdf format. I could do this manually, but there’s probably a way to do it in a single step. What method would that be?

I see there is a discussion already for using Retrieve, but I believe my admins have disabled that feature. Therefore, are there any alternatives (preferably from the web browser itself)?

Hi @newton76 ! Thank you for your message!

There are different ways for you to extract documents in bulk from the Docusign platform. Some of them I can highlight below, but for your specific scenario, since it’s only around 20 envelopes, maybe the best way would be the manual action.

  • Manually: If you want to download a few documents and these have already been finalized, this is a good option;
  • Retrieve: It is software provided by Docusign, which may incur an extra cost, which performs the massive download of envelopes, including those already finished;
  • Agreement Actions: This is a good way to create a rule to automatically export envelopes to your preferred cloud service. The disadvantage is that it is not possible to apply the rule to already finished envelopes, only those created after configuring this feature.
  • Connect: Also known as webhook, you can create a connection between Docusign and your server or cloud service, where you can transmit the full envelope message via base64 and encrypted API message.
  • RestAPI GET calls: where you can prepare a batch and send the command to Docusign to respond with base64 encrypted documents.

I hope I could clarify your question!
