Hey community,
I am new to DocuSign, I signed up for the business pro plan which gives me 10 envelopes per month. What i basically understand about envelopes is that they are used to send multiple documents in one envelope. So, my question is, is there a way to send a single document for sign without using envelopes.

Hi NikStar,

You can send one or multiple documents in one envelope, like you would put printed sheets into an envelope. Envelopes weren’t designed only for multiple documents. The same applies to recipients, you can have just one or multiple recipients in the signature workflow based on your needs.

DocuSign offers the ability to sign a document without the signature workflow process. This feature does not consume an envelope, but is limited to you uploading and signing a document only. You can download the signed document or email it to someone else after signature through DocuSign.

Hello @NikStar,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

I apologize for the inconvenience this is a follow-up on your post.

To provide more information about the feature that allows you to sign Documents from your account, with the Sign a Document feature in DocuSign, you can easily upload a document to your account, sign it, and send a copy to others. This feature allows you to sign documents that are sent to you outside of DocuSign or complete forms that need to be sent to someone else. You can access this feature from either the Home page or the Manage page. Sign a Document From Your Account
