I found articles stating you can create a condition for a check box value.  I go to Conditional Fields and select Create Rule.  The only option that shows is a message in the toolbar “Click on the fields to show when trigger field =“.  I select a value and click Done.   I have no other selections.  Does this mean I do not have the appropriate version?  Is there a module I need to purchase to have the ability to set conditions?

I understand you are looking to apply a conditional rule on to a checkbox.

 

Are you selecting the checkbox and then clicking on “Create a Rule”? You see, the way the conditional feature works is that you need to select the actual field you want to create the rule for. if there are several checkboxes under the same group and you click on them you should see a list of those checkboxes, but if you select the radio buttons you will only see a list of the radio buttons on that group: Conditional Fields
