what is the standard time to sign the document before it expires?

By default, envelopes expire after 120 days.

@LeonelB I believe Account defaults are set to “60” days. The Account default then flows down to any new envelope or Template created. You would need to contact the DocuSign Admin for the account to verify the default for the Expiration and whether the Expiration time can be overriden at the Template and envelope level. Therefore although a new envelope has the expiration that was set by the Account value you could still increase or decrease based on the need of that envelope.
