When I try to start an envelope then add recipient and uploading the document. then hit the send now button it will ask you if you want to add fields, when you click “ADD FIELDS” it will do nothing. I was able to find a work around by clicking next.

As far as I can tell that is expected behavior. If you have Recipients that are “needs to sign” and you have not added any DocuSign fields to the document and select Send Now, the popup message will show the buttons as you outlined, Add Fields or Send Without Fields. If you select Add Fields then you are set back to the primary screen where you can add Recipients and can select Next to go to the DocuSign fields or tagging screen. I can see that there would be an expectation that selecting “Add Fields” would put you directly to that tagging screen but I do not show that it functions that way right now I would suggest sending in a feature request with this information.
