can only a sender void a contract ?

@heather - The ability to void an envelope typically depends on the permissions set within your DocuSign account. Here are the common roles and their capabilities regarding voiding envelopes:

  1. Sender: The person who sends the envelope usually has the ability to void it. This is often the case if the sender realizes there's an error or needs to cancel the transaction.

  2. Admin: DocuSign administrators generally have higher-level permissions, which include the ability to void envelopes sent by other users within the organization.

  3. Delegated Admins/Designated Roles: Depending on how your DocuSign account is configured, there may be other roles or specific users who have been granted the permission to void envelopes.

Also, note that a recipient can decline to sign a DocuSign envelope, which effectively voids the envelope. When a recipient declines to sign, the envelope status changes to "Declined," and it can no longer be completed.
