I need to create a brief note allowing my son to act on my behalf with the Chicago police department and Progressive insurance to deal with a stolen and recovered vehicle. The car is registered in my name so they need this to allow him access to the car etc
Can I create this type of document on Docusign as a notarized letter?

Draft the Authorization Letter:
Start by drafting the letter that states your son's authority to act on your behalf. This should include:
Your full name and address.
Your son’s full name and address.
The specific permissions he is granted (e.g., speaking with police, claiming the vehicle, handling insurance claims).
Details about the vehicle (make, model, year, and VIN).
The duration for which the authorization is valid.
