Can docusign handle the below? If so, which custody transfer rule would be invoked? We have a user that has multiple groups. There are multiple transfer rules in place. One rule for each individual group. When the user who has both groups sends an envelope, which custody transfer would apply?
For envelope transfer rules in DocuSign, the timing and priority of transfers work as follows:
Transfer Timing: If multiple transfer rules are set to trigger upon the envelope being sent (the "Send" event), DocuSign will process these rules sequentially.
Rule Priority: When there are overlapping rules set for the same "Send" event, only the first rule listed (based on the order in your transfer rule settings) will execute for a given user. Any additional rules with identical criteria will be disregarded unless they apply to different users.
In summary, if multiple "Send" transfer rules are configured, DocuSign will only execute the transfer action for the first matching rule per user. Ensure that the most critical rule appears at the top if specific order matters for your workflow.
