I’m just starting to implement composite templates for a client and so far everything is working great except for one thing. We have a government form that I want to include twice in the same envelope; each to be signed by a different attorney. When I add the second instance of the template in the envelope I get an alert that there are duplicate roles. I suppose the fix is to duplicate the template so that each template has distinct roles, but before I do that I thought I’d check to make sure I’m not missing anything.

Here's a general approach:
-
Use Separate Composite Templates: Create two composite templates within your envelope definition. Each composite should reference the same base template but assign different recipient details (signers) with unique
roleName
properties.
