I can't unlock one of the the 5 recipients name. I've been able to edit it in contacts. I've copied an existing envelope. But under "edit recipients" I can't change spelling of name or email...just sms number. I can't delete or replace recipient...although I can delete and replace every document.

We apologize for the inconvenience, I understand you are trying to edit a locked recipient.

Unfortunately, if a recipient is locked, it can not be changed, you would need to void the current envelope and send it again to have it signed by all recipients: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=pik1583277475390&topicId=srv1583277356044.html&_LANG=enus
