We use a unique (numeric) identifier to identify our customer. I need the subject line to pull the number from the CSV into the subject line. Can this be done?

Example Header: Customer Number, Name, Email

                          123, MLT, MLT@MLT.com

Please DocuSign XYZ Doc, Customer#123

You can't edit the Email Message or Subject from the Bulk CSV file. You can add a note to each recipient in the CSV file but that will just be in the email message not the subject.

If the Customer Number is important enough you could simply add it to the Name of your recipient and then use the merge field it would display in the email subject. Additionally (we do this with some corporate documents) you can simply put the Customer Number as the Name of the recipient and then have some logic on the form that forces the signer to acknowledge that they need to change their name before signing the document.

Hope this helps

Hello,

Thank you for bringing that link to our attention. That was a reference for a feature in Classic DocuSign which was retired a few years ago.

This article Bulk Send: How to Transition to Bulk Send v2 will explain what the current upgrades are for that functionality.
