I found a similar question here: Setting order to pre-fill fields | Community (docusign.com)

That thread says to look for “field order” on the right hand menu when building a template, but I don’t see that at all. Similarly the instructions seen here: Advanced Properties for Fields (docusign.com) says to look for Field Order in the right hand menu when making a template.  I don’t see such an option.

 

How do I get this turned on?

Hello!  This is behind the scenes setting that Support can enable for you when you open a case with the desired account.  Unfortunately, it is not enabled by default on new accounts, so you’ll want to submit a new case and ask them to turn on “Allow Tab Order”.
