Hi,

I'm looking to send a document that requires a mandatory 14 day hold period before the client can sign the document. How can I send the document with the ability for the client to view only within this 14 day window and then the ability to sign the document is delayed for this 14 days. In an ideal situation would like to have a system generated reminder send to them at the expiry of the 14 days alerting them to the ability to now sign the document.

Thanks in advance 😁

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

You can try adding the recipient twice (one with a Receives a Copy role and the other with a Needs to sign) in a different signing order, and then use our schedule feature to delay the envelope for 14 days: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=gav1643676262430&topicId=vvh1648171137681.html&_LANG=enus

Thanks. That's very helpful.

I'll reach out to Support team to identify what plan will support Delayed Routing and Witness Signing as neither is mentioned on any of the plan & pricing guides I can find.

Kind regards

Amber
