Hi there.

I have this issue: me and my clients have gibberish instead of normal pdf when open via phone.

What is the solution for this problem.

I’m sorry to hear that the information on your document does not make sense, I understand this happens when the document is opened on the mobile.

 

This could be due to a feature called Responsive Signing (mobile friendly), depending on how the document was set up, it can show funny on the phone. For more information, please view: Responsive Signing Best Practices

 

Regarding how to disable it, you can do so by:

 

  1. Opening the envelope you want to disable responsive signing for.
  2. Click on the "Advanced Options" tab in the top menu bar.
  3. Uncheck the "Allow recipients to view documents more easily on mobile devices" checkbox.
  4. Click on the "Save" button to save the changes.
