I have to send a doc to my Supervisor to sign. After I upload the doc, the final value in Docusign is different from original doc. Somewhow docusign is changing the numbers … it’s only 1-2 cents but my Supervisor does not want to sign it like that.

@Carla A Could you provide an example of what value is changing from and what it changes to?  Is the value inside the document you are uploading or is this value in a DocuSign field, such as a Text box, or Value? Also what type of file is being uploaded? Excel...Word...PDF etc

The value inside the document that I am uploading is changing. File being uploaded: PDF.

Example: PDF doc says USD 34,987.63 … when I uploaded it says USD 34,987.64

@Carla A Just to check on the value in the document….does it have any additional or hidden digits past the second digit after the “.” Was this value added into the PDF as an Adobe fillable field?  My curiosity is whether the value somehow shows up as USD $34,987.635 in Adobe and for some reason the upload is rounding the value to the nearest cent.

If this is a Adobe fillable field are you converting that to a DocuSign field?

Hello @Carla A ,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

I’m sorry to hear that the documents you are uploading are changing, I understand this is happening to a field with numbers.

Can you try to flatten the PDF by printing to a new PDF to remove any dynamics that might be affecting it when uploaded to DocuSign: How to resolve a document upload error by printing the document to a new PDF

We had the same issue. We used TRUNC() on our formula field, so the 3rd decimal is cut off for the document.
