I’ve been sent a contract to sign. When I open the document, it comes up with a date embedded on the signature panel.

However, if I select “Print and Sign” - the downloaded PDF copy does not display the same embedded date.

There is no facility for me to alter the date that is showing. (and it’s incorrect).

Is the issue at my end - something in docusign I can adjust ?  Or at the sender’s end ?

What kind of business scenarios do you have that you need to “Print and Sign”? We generally advise our customers to turn off this feature. If you print and sign and then upload it, there is no guarantee that the signed document is still the content sent in DocuSign, and you need to manually proofread it, which increases the workload.

Hello, mister G

It’s something from the Sender’s side. You should contact him/her to explain such behavior then they can fix it for you in a new envelope sent to be signed.

Best,

Alexandre
