Caution

Sent a document for signature and my recipients are concerned as to why the email notification has a banner stating “Caution: This email came from an external source.  Please do not click on links or open attachments from senders you do not trust.”

This type of message is automatically added by the recipient's email firewall, having no relation with DocuSign.

A simple test you can do is to send an envelope to a free email service (like @gmail or @outook), where you’ll see that we have not included any type of this alert.
