I am sending forms out to clients that contain name and addresses.  I created the document in the dosusign word assist.  all of the merge fields look to be single spaced.  i pulled in the recipients using a csv file via bulk send.  The finished document that the client sees has a bunch of extra spaces like below…

 

Name

 

Adress 1

 

Adress 2

I’m sorry to hear that your document information is showing with several spaces in between, I understand you used Docusign Template Assistant for Word, is that correct?

 

If so, can you provide a screenshot of the syntax used to create those fields?

I tried to reproduce the issue using your same syntax but I wasn’t able to do so, can you provide a screenshot of what the recipient is seeing? (If it has private information you can send me a private message)
