I am trying to do a name change through Docusign.  But it is supposed to have two signatures one of my old name and one of my new.  But it keeps putting my old name in both spaces.  I have tried everything to get the signature with my new name but I can’t seem to get it.  Help please.

 

@Mskittie23 - Have you tried adjusting your signatures under your profile if you have a DocuSign account?   It might also be a security setting for the sender that is not allowing you to change it.   Can you contact the sender of the envelope?

I have had a docusign account for several years.  In 2020, my daughter needed to do a docusign and I used my email address to help her.  Somehow my account name was changed to hers and I have been unable to change it back.  When I log in, her documents as well as mine are there but the profile lists only her name. The error message says “a user with the same profile name and email address already exists in your account.”

The issue you are facing could be due to the reason that you allowed your daughter to sign a document sent to your email address that is also linked to your account. Can you provide more information on where exactly the name was changed and where you are trying to change it? Can you provide a screenshot?

Hi there

I too allowed my sign to use my email to sign a document but on my Docusign account it shows up with my correct name and signature but on the document I’ve been sent to sign it shows up with my son’s name but my signature. 

Can someone please tell me how to delete my son’s name off my docusign signature?

Can you confirm if you have their signature saved in your account?: Change your signature or adopt a custom signature

If you don’t please contact support to have any recipient account removed to free up your email so that you can adopt the correct signature: https://support.docusign.com/en/contactSupport
