The date stamp for signer is incorrect

When my clients sign documents I’ve sent them, Docusign sometimes indicates they’ve signed at a different time or even on the following day, when they have not. For example, I received a completed document this evening at 9:42pm PST today (Oct 14, 2024) and it was date stamped tomorrow for the second signer!

I’ve checked my settings, and the time zone I indicated is correct. This can cause critical issues if not remedied. How do I get this addressed?

This depends on your Docusign account configuration and if you it is set to “Account Default” or “Recipient”. With it being set to the “Recipient” value this depends on the configuration of the recipients account. In the Certificate of Completion you can see all timestamps with the timezone referenced.

This Docusign Support article contains more details on how to configure it.
