I’m sending DocuSign through Salesforce with 2 files. On the Salesforce opportunity the files save as one PDF, but in the completion email it’s received as two files. I want to combine the files to one PDF in the completion email too. It is possible?

I am sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to combine your email attachment, but I will share more details on the topic.

 

The behavior you describe is expected from the eSignature application.

 

The reasoning behind not including an option to combine the PDFs into one document within the email notification is that this has proved to cause errors when a combined file ends up being too large.

 

To prevent these issues we have limited access to combining the PDFs to the eSignature dashboard only.

Based on the response above from 9 months ago, has there been any new developments that now allow multiple files added to an envelope be combined and sent as one PDF document once the envelope is completed? If not, what does it take to get this engineered to give all users this option to make their usage of this application more effective.

There is still not an option that would allow you to combine the completed documents attached to the envelope’s email notification. Nevertheless, feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always welcome. I encourage you to consider submitting your idea for review by our development team for possible implementation.
