Copying & Pasting Forms from/to existing templates

I have an existing template to which I have added a new form with numerous fields.  I would like to just copy this new form from the template I’ve already added it to and paste it into another already existing template.  This would be much easier than recreating the form and all the fields.  Is there a way to do this?  I’ve tried everything I can think of.

The best option I can offer is to send a new envelope using Template A, then apply Template B to that same envelope, adjusting the possible Recipient overlap.  Once sent then go to that envelope and select “Save as Template” from the right side dropdown.  This creates a new Template C that would have the documents, fields, etc from Template A and Template B.

 

There is no direct copy of a document that can be done from Template A to Template B that I am aware of as a product feature.
