Instead of having Party and Documents as two separate distinct folder structures - integrate into one so it’s either Party or Documents

Could you elaborate a little?

The rigid Party folder system used by Party management at the moment is completely unusable for anyone bigger than a small business (i.e. any business with more than one department/use case).



I’d be keen to hear how this would make things better?
Personally, I would advocate for more flexibility and not less?


I agree that unless you are a small firm, the Party Management is completely unusable.  It is also unmanageable mostly because there are two folder structures one for the Documents section of DS CLM and one for the Party section of DS CLM.  Instead of having to go to both places to “fix” an item, it would be nice if you could fix in one place and have the functionality to fix in one place and both party and documents would sync.  

It just seems like Party Management could be useful larger scale with some changes that allow for more flexibility and also with some customization so you can use individual user’s data.  

For example, we don’t do MSA’s.  That is the default.  We also have over 5,000 parties total.  I don’t want to have to manage parties and another folder structure system.  If I can make folders and sub-folders and the party view is not contingent on a separate folder system then it makes it much easier to see the total relationship than working through folders.
