eSignature

We use Purview and have word docs protected by information protection that encrypts the docs at time of sending/creation.When a user uploads doc for e-signature it fails. What is best process to enable the user to sign these docs?

Hi there,I’m testing out DocGen for Salesforce and have been really impressed by the tool so far. The process is pretty smooth and easy to use, but I’m wondering about the flexibility of “Document Rules” under the “Upload Documents” step. As I understand it, these are designed to give you some conditional logic for dynamically deciding what documents are generated based on field data in the primary object. However, I’m wondering if there is any way to build rules that reference field data from related (parent or child) objects. In my case, the object I’m using is a junction for multiple related objects, so it doesn’t have all the field data immediately available. This was fine when building the document itself, but it doesn’t seem like I can reference any of those related objects for the purposes of a document rule. For example, my primary object (Contract) is related to the Product object, which contains data about the “type” of document I want to generate. If the type = A, I want to g

I am sharing this in hopes that it reaches others who may be in a similar situation or just anyone in general. I recently have had some financial issues and have also been working on improving my credit . I was delighted to see some "excellent approval odds" on several personal loan companies in which I applied.  After applying and getting rejected so many times I gave up.  Well to my surprise I received an email from some sheisty sheisters posing as Lending club! WOW I was finally approved!! All this hard work finally paid off?? Being that they were using docu-sign i thought for sure this must be legit. Haha nope but I sure did fall for it.  E- signed these lovely documents which said I'd soon be receiving $3000 electronically straight into my bank account. I just needed to provide every personal detail I could to have my identity stolen 😭 I was so overwhelmed with racing thoughts of excitement over all the debt I could finally pay off and what I'd be able to accomplish that it truly

I created a digital signature but the document that needs my signature does not use the signature I created.  How can I force the document that needs my signature to use the signature I created?

every time I go to set up a document to sign, I have to change the font and text color for each field. Is there not a choice to set my individual choices for my envelopes and save it as a default? thanks

Hi AllIs there a way to change or better, remove entirely, the default quick view filters? Everyday I open DocuSign and then have to “clear filters” because, yet again, DocuSign has provided defaults that are not helpful to me.thanks,mr1

Hi Support,I'm using Bulk Send in DocuSign with a routing order of Reviewer (view-only) → Signer. The reviewer's role is just to view the document before it moves on — they're not signing or adding anything. The problem is that the data I've loaded via the Bulk Send recipient list doesn't populate/display for the reviewer at their step. It only shows up once the envelope reaches the signer.Setup details:Recipient 1: Reviewer — action type set to "Needs to View" (or "Receives a Copy," whichever applies) Recipient 2: Signer — action type "Needs to Sign" Data source: Bulk Send list (CSV) mapped to envelope custom fields / recipient fieldsWhat I need:The reviewer should be able to see the bulk-loaded data (the merged field values) at their step, so they can confirm accuracy before the envelope continues to the signer.Question for Support:Is this a known limitation of Bulk Send with "Needs to View" recipients, or is there a configuration fix — such as a template field visibility setting, rec

When sending documents out for signature and using Shared Access can the sender be a shared mailbox?

@Vinicius.Rodrigues Can you help me on this?I have send a document using docusign from a salesforce. after signing the document the docusign status not completd in Salesforce. why is there any spicfic reason? can send a document on this.

Summary: Trial account support access failure and signer invitation not deliveredAdditional details:I can access my DocuSign eSignature trial account normally, but Support Center authentication returns REGISTRATION_HANDLER_ERROR / NO_ACCOUNT. I also attempted to register for the DocuSign Community, but submission results in a 400 “bad request” error.Separately, I have an active envelope with three sequential signers. Signers 1 and 2 have completed signing. Signer 3 remains “Needs to Sign”. The recipient email was successfully corrected from f***********@gmail.com to s*******@gmail.com and this correction is recorded in Envelope History. The envelope was resent after correction, but no signing invitation has been received at s*********@gmail.com, and the envelope does not appear in that recipient’s DocuSign account. Recipient notification settings are enabled. Please investigate the account/support-access issue and the signer 3 delivery/routing issue without affecting the completed signa

I sent out a document to my recipients using the free trial version, but they didn’t receive any notification via email. We all have used Docusign in the past (without an account) and had no issue receiving and viewing the document. Their emails are also not blocking and filtering anything from Docusign. They had to create an account to view and sign the document. Is there something in the settings that I can change to prevent this? I don’t want my recipient have to create an account to view the document; I want them to receive an email notification. Is this because I’m using the free trial version?

When you have set up Shared Access for a team to collaborate the team can easily view and act on envelopes. When an individual receives an envelope that should ONLY be visible to the individual can you restrict access to that individual and hide it from the Shared Access group? If I am in multiple Shared Access groups can all users see all my documents in the groups?

In our development Docusign environment, we are seeing duplicate control fills - Duplicate tab fills in checkboxesWe do not see this in production Docusign and cannot trace this to code related or template related issues.  Is anyone seeing this in their Docusign development environment?  The only other thing we could think of is that the base pdf is somehow filling an underlying pdf control….but this started occurring in all of our templates simultaneously, even ones we have not touched in some time.

Auto renewed the subscription including advanced signature. spent HOURS trying to pay. Finally got through. Paying for account for over a month that doesn’t work. Can’t use advanced signature. Told to go back to account manager. 24 hours later and a disappoined client later no wiser .Impossible to reach customer service in real time.

I have a Document Template that has 3 total signers. The Document Template is used across 10 Envelope Templates. In some Envelope Templates, I need all 3 signers, no issue there. The problem is, on certain Envelope Templates that use the Document Template, I only need 2 signers. My question is: If I send an Envelope Template (via the API through my own app) and only assign email values for signer 1 and signer 3, will signer 2’s fields be removed automatically? Or will the envelope fail to send, or even get stuck on an a non-existent “Signer 2”?I understand that quick workaround would be to create a Document Template for 2 signers, and a Document Template for all 3 signers, but that approach feels like it defeats the purpose of Document Templates. I also tried creating the Envelope Template using the Document Template, deleting signer 2’s fields from the Envelope Template, but editing the original Document Template re-applies Signer 2’s fields (as expected).

How can I bulk download my signed envelopes WITHOUT downloading any other application or doing some kind of programming?  I’m using DocuSign in a corporate environment and I cannot download/install applications.  Frankly this is a basic feature and there should be as simple as “select all” > “download” under Completed Agreements.  It’s ridiculous that this feature is not readily apparent.

If a client has an Enterprise Pro account and have multiple branding/logo requirements for multiple divisions/departments, how can brands be set up so that individual users can select the appropriate logo/brand for their department? We’re not using any templates or workflows in Docusign but are integrating the eSignature action from another CLM platform. Is there any way to automate the brand selection if the internal contracting entity name appears as one of hte recipients rather than manually clicking the Advanced Options button?

At the moment when a customer signs a contract both ourselves and the client are sent separate PDF attachments. All of clients and ourselves require the combined version, so we have to go in and download these individually for each contract. Would it be possible to automatically email over the combined PDF attachment once something is signed

Hello, I am circulating a letter of support to a large number of colleagues for signature and some of them may choose not to sign. Is there a way to set up the letter such that it has the option for any number of recipients to sign in support? Also, if someone does not sign, I don’t want it to show that they have an empty space for their signature. What is the best way to go about this process? Thank you.

We have been experiencing the DocuSign links we send to our customers expiring before they are set to. We have them set to expire 120 days after sending and remind every 7 days. However, for the past 2 weeks we have had customers call us only 4 days in to tell us their link has expired. We can “resend” it and it will successfully open it with saved information. But, this is becoming a bit of an issue.   Thoughts?  Please keep in mind we have been using DocuSign for over 4 years with no issues like this. We have not changed any settings.

We set up a Notary-On Demand envelope for one of our partners.  She began the process, but when she met with the notary in the video sesison, she became concerned that the particular document in question would not be accepted if notarized by an out of state notary.  She chose to end the session to look into that.  About an hour later, after that question had been resolved, she tried to go through the notarization process again.  She received a message saying that the session had been put on hold for troubleshooting.  There didn’t seem to be a way to proceed.  We had to void the envelope and start over.  Why was the envelope on hold and why could we not proceed? Also, why is there no history log for a notary on demand envelope?  It is impossible to troubleshoot issues without it.

We maintain a demo/sandbox DocuSign account for API development, which we use to test and validate functionality ahead of deploying it against production integration keys. The original administrator who configured the account has since left the organization, and administrative access (including the ability to view/modify Integration Key settings such as PKCE enforcement) doesn’t appear to have been transitioned to another team member before departure. We're looking for guidance on the correct process to:Identify the current account owner/administrator on record for the account Regain administrative access or have admin rights reassigned to an authorized current employee Confirm the appropriate internal contact (e.g. Customer Success Manager, Account Executive) for enterprise accounts facing this kind of access transitionAny pointers on the fastest path through official channels would be appreciated, since this is currently blocking a required security configuration change on the integra

I have been sent a work contract, which I filled out and signed and then was lead to the “IDnow Online-Ident” app. After having undergone the steps there (photos of IDs and NFC validation of my German ID) there came an error message and I could not continue. Now I tried to repeat the process, but am getting the (German) message that “The identification process using this transaction number has already been completed and cannot be carried out again.”  The company resent the envolope to sign, but the message stays the same. The company says they had a problem with docusign before once and only the user could solve with docusign. But there are no possible ways for me to reach out to docusign, since the support page only offers a chat option which does not open (in neither firefox nor chrome browsers) and there seem to be no other options for me to reach support @ docusign. I registered with a free trial account too, but get error messages, too” Having trouble logging in?If you signed up f

I am receiving an error message “The witness host signer id is not valid.” when correcting all existing envelopes to add a new signer who needs to sign with a witness. The platform allows you to add the signer but when you correct the envelope it creates them without a witness group. Is anyone else experiencing this/know a fix please?

How to locate the original Envelope that was sent to me with the envelope I.D?
