What’s IAL2?
It’s a U.S. government-recognized standard (from NIST) for verifying someone’s digital identity with a high degree of confidence. It’s commonly used in regulated industries and public-sector workflows where identity fraud prevention is critical.

How it works in Docusign
Through our partnerships with CLEAR and ID.me, your recipients can easily verify their identity by logging into an existing account or creating one for free. Admins can also access identity verification evidence directly in Docusign for smoother auditing.
