Big news—2025 Release 1 is here. This major update to the Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform is all about helping you work smarter, move faster, and uncover deeper insights from your agreements.
With powerful new features—from collaborative agreement creation to AI-assisted extractions and deeper integrations—this release is designed to eliminate inefficiencies and unlock new opportunities across the entire agreement lifecycle.
✍️ Key takeaways:
-
Work smarter, not harder: Save time and simplify complex workflows with new tools like Workspaces, Agreement Prep, and the beta launch of Agreement Desk.
-
Use AI to drive real impact: The new AI engine, Docusign Iris, helps you extract agreement data at scale, manage obligations automatically, and gain insights across the agreement lifecycle.
-
Reach signers faster: Use multi-channel delivery via SMS and WhatsApp to keep participants in the loop and reduce delays throughout the agreement process.
-
Make your systems work harder for you: New integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Coupa bring agreement insights and workflows into the tools your teams already use.

Can’t wait to dive into all of this. Sounds awesome.
This is a huge leap forward—especially excited about the potential of Docusign Iris to automate obligation tracking and extract insights at scale. The Workspaces and Agreement Desk tools also look like major time-savers!
The changes look great! I look forward to seeing how they impact the way we use DocuSign in the future!
This is exciting news—great to see DocuSign Workspaces now officially released!
We had the opportunity to participate in the beta testing of what was previously called Transaction Spaces, and worked closely with Teri Blair who is Docusign Principal Onboarding Consultant during that phase. The experience gave us an early look into how Workspaces can streamline multi-envelope coordination, especially for cases involving the same recipient across multiple agreements.
We’re truly happy to see the functionality now live, and we’re continuing to participate in other beta programs as well. It’s always encouraging to see DocuSign rolling out new features that address real-world customer needs. Looking forward to more innovation ahead!

@Pawan Gangwani Great question about Iris! what we used to call “Docusign AI” is now Iris. More than a name change, it’s a major upgrade to our AI infrastructure in the IAM platform. With Iris, we’re rolling out two big improvements: smarter, fine-tuned models and intelligent routing that automatically sends each request to the best model for the job. That means more accuracy and support for some exciting new use cases, like custom extractions, obligation management, and AI-assisted reviews right in Agreement Desk.
The previews look very interesting. Especially the AI support has a lot of potential. I hope that Iris will also work equally well in languages other than English. I'm eager to learn more about it :)
excited to learn more ways to be effective and combining AI to my work load
I’m looking forward to learning more about the Advanced Conditionality capabilities so we can better tailor our forms.Exciting to see the AI advancements and integrations with Salesforce Agentforce.
Looking forward to intergration AI in DocuSign
I am looking forward to enhancements within eSignature. From the slides at Momentum, IAM is currently in place at ~10,000 of 1,700,000 customers. That equates to 0.588% of DocuSign customers are on the IAM platform. I understand that DocuSign is trying to get us all to buy IAM, but there are many of us that need feature enhancements in eSignature and other products as well to support our existing use cases.
Is Docusign Iris enabled only for IAM platform services? Are there considerations to allow for some AI functions for the basic eSignature customer?
I love how quickly you are innovating, responding to real-life legal operations pain points, and embracing new technologies. As an existing CLM customer, we have many questions about interoperability between legacy functionalities and new AI features, but we like the direction Docusign is heading in!
