Can anyone offer insight on adding two factor authentication?

We have been trying for DAYS to add SMS two factor authentication to our license.  We need a select group of people to whom we send an envelope to verify their identity via SMS.  We are stuck in an endless circle.  We are referred by service to sales.  Sales sends an email with a link containing instructions on how to add once logged into our account, but the link they tell us to use does not exist.  We are told to go to Account in the Admin login and in the Accounts view choose Plan and Billing and then buy an Add on.  Add on does not exist as an option.

We’ve been told from the Account view to select Identity Verification.  Again, this does not exist.

We have been going in circles for days and no one at DocuSign seems to know how to add this to our account.

Hello @Financial Planning Houston,

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

To help us investigate, could you please send me a private message and provide the following details:

  • Name
  • The email address linked to your account
  • Your account number
  • case number (if any)

Once we have this information, we’ll be able to check your account and provide more specific guidance.

Best Regards,

Hello @Financial Planning Houston,

I hope you’re doing well. I wasn’t able to get back to you sooner, but we have reached out to your account executive regarding your concern with SMS authentication. We’re just checking in to see if you still need assistance. If so, please let us know so we can continue supporting you.

We were able to get set up for SMS Authentication and have used is successfully.  We still don’t understand why we have a plan by the same name as the one we had before with much different restrictions and pricing schedule.

It’s confusing to be told the plan by the same name is structured completely differently with different pricing rather than adding SMS and charging for that feature.
