Enabling Multiple e-Signature Sessions

Hi everyone,

We’ve been consistently running into error messages when trying to use e-Signature across multiple browser sessions. This behavior has been quite limiting and it's proving to be both frustrating and time-consuming in day-to-day use.

Support mentioned that the engineering team currently considers this an enhancement request rather than a bug. However, from our perspective, this really seems like unexpected behavior. It’s not intuitive, and definitely doesn’t align with how modern web applications are expected to function.

Has anyone else encountered this limitation?

Can you please provide us with more information about the issue, including the step-by-step process of what you did before you reached this error message? Are you using the regular DocuSign Website (www.docusign.com) or an Integration to generate/send documents like Rooms, CLM, SpringCM, Salesforce, Workday, etc? Lastly, you mentioned you had already interacted with support and had been informed of the limitations. Can you please share the case number?

We use both DocuSign CLM and e-Signature. When creating a new envelope for a document after it reaches the "Review and Send for Signature" workflow step in CLM, the previous eSignature session consistently crashes, resulting in an error. This occurs every time a new envelope is initiated.

We've provided detailed information, including a screen recording demonstrating the problem, in ticket 14597223. We've also requested reopenings of this case with tickets 14917237 and 15335276 due to the continued impact.

There is also an enhancement request ticket for Docusign engineering team: ATL-83369

This crash is a significant disruption to our workflow, and we've been trying to bring attention to this case for over a year, but it is still not fixed. Please let us know what steps can be taken to prioritize a fix for this long-standing problem. We are happy to provide any further information required.
