Question

What is Docusing doing to prevent Fraud ? I guess...... nothing at all!

I received a message in my account asking me to sign a fraudulent document.
In its title, it reads:

“Bradesco – Purchase Approved: R$12,000.00 for Walter …”

I am Walter — and they had both my email address and my full name.
Bradesco is a major Brazilian bank, roughly equivalent to Bank of America in scale and relevance.

So how did this even reach me, given that it was clearly fraudulent and explicitly impersonating a well-known bank — quite possibly a DocuSign client?

Well, well, well…..
This is not the reputation one would expect from a company positioning itself as a trust platform.

@delazaro

You could report the attempted fraud. There’s a link in this thread

 Hi there @delazaro. Just checking in to see if you still need help? Thanks again for reporting this. It really does make a big difference in keeping our community safe.

Quick rundown of the types of fraud you can report:

Email abuse: These are phishing emails pretending to be from DocuSign. If you spot one, please forward it as an attachment (or include the URL) to verify@docusign.com. You’ll get a confirmation within about two hours letting you know if it’s legitimate and what to do next.

In‑product abuse: This involves suspicious or fraudulent activity happening inside actual DocuSign accounts. Use the Report Abuse feature, and it goes straight to our team so we can investigate and stop bad actors.

For guidance, the Docusign Safety Center is your one-stop spot for security tips, fraud reporting, and helpful resources.
