Transferring License

My Head of IT has just bought two licenses to allocate to other members of the charity however one has been associated with him whereas we only want to administrate the licenses and actually want to allocate both licenses to other people. Can you tell us how to do this? We have bought 2 standard licenses via credit card.

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

The seat/license currently assigned to the Head of IT can only be reassigned by updating the account credentials (name and email) to the new person who will use it. Once updated, the newly assigned admin can then allocate the remaining seat to another user.

Alternatively, you can first add another user as an administrator. Once that new admin is in place, you may close the Head of IT’s account. When the account is closed, the seat becomes available and can then be allocated to the intended staff member.  How to assign a user to a seat
