The sender of a Docusign envelope has made corrections to a contract without my consent.  Now refusing to send me link to the Issue 1 of the document.  I can only access Issue 2 through my account as the receiver and not the account holder.  I believe certain paragraphs were removed from Issue 1.  Person has sent  an‘Issue 1’ which I do not believe to be the actual Issue 1.  The envelope ID has been removed from this issue.  How can I retrieve the true Issue 1?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Docusign Community—great to have you here! I understand how frustrating and concerning this situation must be.

When the sender initiates a correction, the original version of the document is effectively replaced by the system. That means the original link is no longer accessible. The only way to recover the original document is directly from the sender assuming they saved or downloaded it before making changes

If you believe the document has been altered, do not proceed with signing. Ask for clarification and request a copy of the original version before continuing.
