The envelope created contains the developer name and email in the message body.

Is there any setting to remove it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi @Tibmos

Thank you for reaching out here in the Docusign Community! We’re happy to have you here.

I understand you are looking for a setting to remove the developer's name and email from the message body of the envelopes you created.

To help me provide the most accurate solution or workaround for your specific setup, could you please reply with a screenshot showing exactly where this information appears?

Once I have these details, I will look into this for you right away.

Thank you and have a great day ahead!

Hi @Tibmos

Thank you for providing us with the attachment detailing your issue with the name displayed in the envelope email body.

To provide clarification, please refer to the following:

Image 1 - The sender’s name is the expected name that should appear in the white highlight, not the recipient's, as the sender is the one who created and sent the envelope. If the recipient's name is displayed in white highlight on the notification, that is not the correct behavior.

Image 2 - If you are sending envelopes using a pre-saved template, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Templates tab in your Docusign account.
  • Click on the template being used and select Edit.
  • Scroll down to the Message to all recipients section.
  • Clear or update any default text. If there is a merge field added to the email body, you can edit it as well for your recipients. You can check how the merge field feature works from this video.

If you would prefer to be walked through these settings, you can schedule a live screen-sharing by creating a case with us: Get Support. This will allow our representative to troubleshoot the issue in real-time.

Thank you, and have a great day ahead!
