How to have docusing send Email Notifications to people that aren’t signing the document?

Question

Currently in our workflow we have one person send a pdf through docusign to a second person whom they’ve given edit rights. They will then prepare the document and place the signature fields before adding the recipients who they require to sign. What we’ve noticed is that the second person who edits the documents to include signature fields and sends it off is not getting email notifications for when they receive the document from the 1st person and when the third person signs it. is there a way where all 3 people in this process get the emails to keep track of this process? Also is there a way to make docusign send emails to a supervisor who isn’t a recipient but still wants to keep an eye on the progress of a particular agreement?

You can send it through private message for security reasons, if you like.Additionally, please verify whether you are using a webform, template, or standard envelope. Typically, only the sender receives email notifications regarding recipient activity, such as when a recipient signs the document or completes an action. Other recipients, such as the second or third recipient who have already completed their part for a specific envelope, generally will not receive additional notifications until all recipients have completed and signed the document.Sending an email notification to someone who is not a recipient is not possible in Docusign. The email notification is triggered based on the recipients in the envelope.
