I am creating a template and accidentally added an extra text field. I don’t have an option to delete the field, nor does highlighting the field and pressing delete work. How do I remove this extra field?

Can you try to drag the text field on the left-hand side of the screen? You should be able to delete the field from there.
You may also right-click on your mouse; you will have an option to delete the field.

Can you try to highlight the entire area of the field, then press Backspace or Delete?
