Hi,

I would like to check if Docusign can generate the Documents without the envelope IDs. Our firm (ASCAP One) is using ‘Enterprise Pro For Salesforce’ Plan. Thank you.

Hello Naga Chaitanya Yepuri,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Docusign Community—great to have you here!

Yes, this is possible. If you're a DocuSign administrator, you can enable the setting that allows senders to choose whether to include the Envelope ID on their documents.

To do this: go to Admin → Sending Settings → select "Enable including the Envelop ID on the document"

Once enabled, senders can choose whether to include the Envelope ID when creating an envelope by clicking the gear icon/Advanced Options in the upper-right corner, selecting Sending Settings, and unchecking "Show Envelope ID on all document pages."

👉 Send a Document Without the Envelope ID on It

The ability to control Envelope ID placement is available on paid DocuSign plans, including Enterprise plans.

I hope this helps! If you believe this response effectively addresses your question, mark it as “Best Answer”.  Let us know if you have any further questions

Thank you for the prompt response, the options are currently greyed out for us. Do we need to reach out to someone to enable this? Really appreciate your time and support.

Thanks again!

Hello @ncyepuri,

Yes, a backend setting needs to be enabled by support to make the option clickable and not grayed out.

Please open a support case and request that Envelope ID stamp control be enabled. 👉 Get Support
