Hello @GR26, Welcome to the Docusign Community!

Thanks for your question. What you're running into is a signature-level requirement. The official French website you're using requires a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) under the EU eIDAS regulation, whereas a standard DocuSign eSignature is a "simple" electronic signature, which is why the site isn't recognizing it as EU-certified.

DocuSign does support QES, but here's what you should know:

1. QES capability is enabled on the sender's account. The sender configures the envelope and sets the signature type (IDV - DS EU Qualified) for the recipient. So:

   - If someone else is sending you the document to sign, their account needs the QES module, you would simply complete the identity verification and sign.

   - If you're preparing and signing your own document (which sounds like your case), then your own account needs the QES capability.

2. Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) are not included with DocuSign free trial accounts. QES is available as an add-on for eligible DocuSign IAM plans and higher-tier subscriptions. 👉 Connect with our sales team

For more details, I'd recommend these resources:

- DocuSign QES overview: https://www.docusign.com/en-gb/products/electronic-signature/qualified-electronic-signature
