Wow, what an event! So many innovative technologies, so many things to show and demonstrate. 

Last week was simply a blast! First, I want to thank our developer community for your ongoing support and for pushing the boundaries of agreements. Your contributions have been instrumental in our evolution from an eSignature provider to a comprehensive end-to-end agreements platform designed to better support your innovations and empower you to build confidently with Docusign.

So, let’s start from the beginning! We prepared an agenda full of great speakers for you. They included guest speaker, Patrick Chanezon, VP of Cloud Developer Advocacy at Microsoft as well as our top executives, including our CEO, Allan Thygesen; our CTO, Sagnik Nandy; our CPO, Dmitry Krakovsky; and our President of Growth, Robert Chatwani. They all came on stage to tell our attendees, both in person and online, about the new exciting release of Docusign for Developers!

During the keynote, everyone heard from our experts about all the new technologies that you can use to build, extend, and integrate with Docusign: from extension apps, which can be used to provide new functionality inside Docusign and be published to the Docusign App Center to be shared with over 1.6 million customers, to new APIs like the Maestro API and Navigator API that open up new and exciting possibilities for developers to build innovative products that create unique value for all our customers. Robert Chatwani also guided a panel discussion on building trust and compliance in AI. We were joined by industry experts:

🔹 Elizabeth (Lizzie) Siegle, Developer Advocate - AI, Cloudflare

🔹 Nalin Dadhich, Senior Machine Learning Engineer, NVIDIA

🔹 Allison Hegel, Lead Applied Scientist Docusign

Together, they shared insights on embedding trust and compliance into AI development, practical tools to validate AI trustworthiness, collaborative approaches to drive productivity and more.

Once the keynote wrapped, attendees broke out into either the Integrate or Extend sessions. Our amazing partners from Sandbox Banking, Prisidio and more joined our round table for an open discussion on proven strategies, innovative approaches, and best practices for developing both public and private extension apps.

Everyone attending also had the opportunity to get hands-on with our APIs and tools in our two immersive workshops! Many took advantage of these opportunities to try coding along with our experts to either build extension apps or use the new Maestro and Navigator APIs. Developers just want to build stuff…

Throughout the day, attendees ventured around our booths, sharing their projects with our team and learning more about our new platform features. They also had the opportunity to explore what’s coming in the future with our new and unique interactive roadmap display. This event was also so much fun!! Everyone got some cool developer swag for attending:

We also hosted our first-ever scavenger hunt for developers, where participants were tasked to “Escape the Agreement Trap” through following clues around the eighth floor. Once completed, participants received a limited-edition swag item. Let’s not forget the fun happy hour that concluded our event with our unique signature drink: the Mule-tual Agreement! 

And lastly, Robert Chatwani closed us out with a toast for this historic event, for Docusign and our developer community. This journey would not be possible without you all.
