eSignature

I use a mac and create a pdf not password protected.  I upload the pdf document and it is sent to my clients for signature,  When it comes back to me signed and upload the document to my real estate platform, it shows that the document is password protected and my broker can’t see it.  It is really frustrating.  I then I have to print the signed pdf received from my client and re-scan it to create a new pdf that can be open.  It is so time consuming and ineffective.  How can unlock a document that is protected protected when it comes back to me when it was created by me without a passowrd protection.

Can anyone help figure out how to get the “custom fields” to work in a template. Set up: 2 signers (in signing order). Signer 1 is supposed to fill out some info that signer 2 will be able to see.  The custom field doesn’t auto-populate the field to other pages… Eg. signer one types in their name in box 1 on page 1 and it SHOULD auto populate to page 8 where I put a “clone” of that custom field. Some times, it does do this (if the field is just plan text and has NO VALIDATION- i.e. numbers only, date, etc). If you try to make a “drop down” as a custom field, forget it, that NEVER populates over. I tried making sure “shared” was selected and users can collaborate. Every combination of options I tried- NOTHING works.  Does this technology even work?? Lol.  Tried for 2 hours with the totally USELESS call-center support and got no where. Honestly, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME calling the DocuSign support center- they are ENTIRELY unhelpful. No joke. It’s unreal actually how unhelpful they are.

Alongside the more tradional way of signing documents in Docusign, we would like to be able to replace the assignee with an email address. The expectation is the client would not sign the documents in Docusign but print them and sign them. I guess the question is does Docusign have a simple email feature ?

When I try to send an envelope to get signed, I receive an error message that says unable to create envelope. The document is already made I just need to send it for a signature.

We have received several emails over the last 2 weeks that are legit docusign emails but when you open the document there is a phishing link in the document.  How do we protect against this?

Dear All,a Manager of our Company asked me, if there is a German Version of the ELECTRONIC RECORD AND SIGNATURE DISCLOSURE available? Before agreeing to this, he would like to find out more about it in his native language.Thank you.Joel

When an envelope gets signed by all, I always receive the email with the signed document. But the certificate is not attached. Can I force that I always receive the signed envelope/document and the certificate in a SINGLE PDF by email?

We are using Bulk Send to send 2,000 documents. We are using retrieve to download them all but would like the file name very specific. Below is an example:MemberServiceAgreement_Reciepient Name_SSN_Member Number_DateThe SSN, Member Number, and Date are all present on the CSV file used for the import. Is there a way to have the file named like this?

I’m looking to create a dynamic template in DocuSign where the user needs to initial the bottom of every page. I understand how to use auto-place with static templates, but not sure if this is possible with dynamic templates? Is it possible to autoplace an initial field in the footer of every page on a dynamic template using the document editor?

If I send a document to 100+ people with bulk send I download the signed pdf files with the name of the template. "Random Template.pdf". Is there any possibility to download the files with special filename? I would like to use some fields from filled file into the name of the file. for example "Firstname Lastname Random Template.pdf" instead of "Random Template.pdf"? Of course I know I can rename the files one by one during the download in the browser but it is slow process. If I could do it automatically It would be great. Thanks a lot!

I don’t know what has happened.  All names I put in automatically go on the documents instead of me doing it.  How can I change it to manual.

After I configured our logo to the Docusign avatar, the signature email sent by Docusign had a black box around the avatar. I tried to remove the black box and tried many methods but couldn't solve it.

Our firm receives a lot of phishing emails appearing to come from Docusign with potentially malicious links.  Rather than click the link directly from the email, I was hoping users can sign into their Docusign account and view the sent agreement from their Docusign Envelope Inbox to confirm the legitimacy of the email.  I asked a Docusign sales rep if Docusign agreements will automatically appear in the Docusign Inbox when someone sends a legit Docusign agreement and he said yes, but they aren’t showing up. Was the rep wrong about this and if so, does the sender have to do anything special in order for it to appear in a user’s Docusign Inbox rather than just in their standard email Inbox?  Thanks.

when I tried to upload PDF file , there is error with, please advise how to fix it. The file size is 10.3 MB

If I unshare a template, will it cause envelopes sent with this template to disappear from users’ views? We are unsharing the template from everyone.

Can you please help.We tried to rename a hyperlink in Microsoft Word using the 'Text to display' field (as shown in the attached). After copying it to the DocuSign Message field, the recipient of the envelope was unable to open the link. It seems that modifying the 'Text to display' breaks the functionality of the hyperlink. Thanks

How do I unsubcribe from this docusign??????    I do not need it anymore~!!!!!

I am urgently requesting assistance regarding a long-standing issue with my billing account that has gone unresolved for several months. Despite multiple attempts to open support cases, they continue to be closed without resolution. Now, I am unable to even open a new case and am receiving the following error message:"Unable to log in. If this is your first login attempt after purchasing a DocuSign plan, allow 15 minutes for account creation before accessing your account. For all other login scenarios, contact DocuSign Support for assistance."Unfortunately, there appears to be no viable way to contact support. Every email I’ve attempted to use is a no-reply address, and the chat box states there are no live agents for support. This lack of access to assistance is unacceptable, especially given the duration and persistence of this issue. Can you please direct this message to a manager and have them contact me directly today to finally address and resolve this matter.Thank you for your im

When I try to upload a document from OneDrive, not all of my OneDrive folders come up as options.  Any suggestions?

I am trying to get a copy of a docusign that I signed on November 27, 2024. I no longer have access to the email it was sent to. This is the security code 557417C8B0F64EA6BB2A67C3EF52CE711. Please help. I need this as soon as possible.

Please provide me with validation certifications for the Part 11 DocuSign system which our company is currently using with you.  For a sample CFR Part 11 assurance packet or Validator for Life Sciences report, contact your account executives.  Could someone send this to me. I’ve asked my Sales associate but he pointed me to the Trust Portal but it appears that I don’t have access. Thank you for your assistance.

I wish there was a way for us to make changes to a document that we have already sent to a customer. As it is now the fields we are supposed to fill in are not changeable so if the customer says you spelt my name wrong, or my address is not correct then we have to Delete the whole document and create a whole new one and then go through the steps to send it. Would be easier if we could recall it, make adjustments to it and send it back to them. There would still be a paper trail for it.

We used to have a feature where we could tell our members to Text “Signup” to ##### and this would walk them through completing a document.  I was not the person that set it up. Is it something Docusign offers?

We have a user who updates and signs the same PDF using DocuSign for different customers. One page has credit card information on it. This user can view all the PDF pages after signing it. Other users can also view all the PDF pages in most cases. But sporadically, only the page with credit card information shows up as complete blank to other users. In certain cases, only a portion of this page with credit card information is viewable to other users. I have tried viewing the PDF using Foxit PDF Reader and Adobe Acrobat Reader and removed any security restrictions in both the PDF Readers with no success. I want to determine how to resolve it.
