Great to See You at the Chicago Stripe Meetup!

Last week I had the privilege of attending and speaking to the most recent Stripe Meetup at Stripe headquarters in downtown Chicago. What an amazing experience! The event kicked off with two insightful presentations that set the stage for the evening. The first session, Autoscaling Your Event Consumers in Kubernetes (Cecil Philip), gave attendees a deep dive into scaling event-driven architectures efficiently. Afterward, we heard from the next speaker on Embedding Financial Tools in Agentic Workflows Using AI (Steve Kaliski), which explored how AI can streamline financial services and automate processes in a way that’s both intelligent and intuitive.

I had the privilege of following with my session on Docusign Extension Apps and the Stripe Integration. During the presentation, I walked through how Docusign Workflow Builder (formerly Maestro) workflows can be enhanced with the Stripe extension app to automate billing and invoicing processes seamlessly. It was fantastic to share how these integrations help streamline operations and eliminate friction in complex workflows.

It was a great time speaking with developers from across Chicago! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and chatted with me afterward.  It’s exciting to see how developers are not only solving technical challenges, but also shaping better user experiences through automation and smart integrations. Tools like Docusign are becoming more than just part of the stack—they’re part of the strategy.
