Are you familiar with Docusign eSignature templates but looking to expand usage? Do you want to see how your industry peers create and tag commonly used templates? The Docusign University (DSU) Template Library gives you and your template builders the head start needed to build your template workflows and design an intuitive signing experience for your recipients.

🎓 Templates 101

Docusign eSignature Templates allow you to save and reuse repeatable information for every document and simply put a “placeholder” for the recipient. This way, all you have to do to share a document is add the approvers and press send. Check out this video to learn more about creating templates.

📚 The Template Library

The DSU Template library houses over 200 industry-related eSignature templates and Maestro sample configurations. Samples are available in six languages and include configurations for our Docusign Web Forms and Document Generation capabilities. The library also offers U.S. federal and state-specific samples, making it easy for our public sector customers to send live documents to customers, often within 24 hours.

🧠 How to Leverage the Template Library Samples

The goal of the library is to show our eSignature and Maestro workflow builders how product and industry experts create intelligent documents and workflows. This allows you to execute your ideas on how specific forms in your business could be designed. For example, the “Purchase Order” eSignature sample features data fields with number validations and formula fields, automating the tallying of items and eliminating errors on the final copy of the purchase order.  Many samples also include a second recipient defaulted to “CC” or  “Receives a copy,” so you consider who / which department might also need to receive a copy of the completed document, thus helping you think about all aspects of your workflow.
