Categories:Release Notes

Docusign is pleased to announce that the Docusign eSignature 26.3.02.00 Release Notes: November 2026 is now available on the Demo environment for customer testing.

🚀 What's new?

  • Faster Loading for Document Generation Forms: This performance optimization significantly reduces data-entry form loading times, streamlining agreement preparation for senders. Experience a smoother workflow when generating documents from templates without unnecessary delays.
  • Home Page Visual Refresh Rollout:
  • Joint Agreements: Designated Carbon Copy Enforcement Change: Additional validation requirements ensure that Joint Agreement envelopes strictly comply with network configuration rules and proper account associations. These safeguards prevent unintended bypasses of necessary authentication and terms.
  • NOM 151 - Compliant Seals for Mexico: Organizations operating in Mexico can now preserve electronic agreement integrity under the NOM-151 standard directly within Docusign. This integration eliminates the need for managing a separate vendor for compliant preservation services.
  • Connect Dashboard Improvements: The updated Connect dashboard provides administrators with powerful tools to investigate event activity and handle failures seamlessly. Enhanced search, pagination, and direct republishing capabilities greatly improve operational efficiency.
  • Document Templates with APIs: Connecting document templates to high-generation APIs enables automated document creation without requiring signatures. This empowers organizations to scale agreement preparation workflows effortlessly.
  • AI Preview for Agreement Template Builder and Word Template Assistant: Users can now leverage artificial intelligence to automatically generate and pre-fill realistic sample data during template testing. This removes manual data entry hurdles and accelerates template validation.
  • Workflow Builder: Use data from a CSV table: By uploading CSV files directly into workflows, administrators can query extensive reference data without building complex conditional rules. This feature simplifies maintenance and prevents workflows from hitting branching limits.
  • New Verification Method: Apple Wallet Mobile Driver's License: Recipients can complete secure identity verification with a single tap using state-issued mobile credentials stored in Apple Wallet. This frictionless experience reduces abandonment while enhancing cryptographic security.
  • Enhanced Permissions for Document Templates: Granular access controls let template owners share specific document templates with designated users or groups. Teams can now collaborate securely while keeping other critical templates protected.
  • Updates to Embedded Signing URL Domains: Docusign is streamlining authentication routing by directing browsers to a unified domain upon the initial open of an envelope. Integrators should review their systems to ensure compatibility with longer URL structures.
  • Updates for Default to Next Gen eSignature Experience: The modernized sending experience is shifting to become the default across accounts to accelerate template preparation and envelope sending. Administrators retain control over rollout settings and user toggle visibility.
  • Next Generation Sending Experience for Embedded and Healthcare Customers: The rollout of the next-generation sending experience expands to include embedded and healthcare customer workflows. All users can now take advantage of a consolidated header, streamlined field libraries, and AI recommendations.

When will the Joint Agreements: Designated Carbon Copy Enforcement Change roll out to prod? The documentation mentions October, but I do not see the change in prod yet?

Hi Jenny. Thank you! I did that yesterday, and heard back.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The Joint Agreements: Designated Carbon Copy Enforcement Change was originally planned for rollout to Demo and Production by the end of October. The Production rollout has been delayed, and there is currently no confirmed revised release date.

The update remains in the rollout process. We apologize for the confusion and will share further information once the new timeline is confirmed.
