Table input from file attachment

Sometimes tables in form need multiple 10s of rows during docgen, however it’s currently not possible to just copy paste from the excel or csv file rows. Something similar to how data is imported into Salesforce, i.e. upload and map columns to table can make the process much user friendly.
One solution as of now is to create a workflow where input document (excel or csv) can be processed but the columns have to be configured in advance and have to be static (to the best of my knowledge).
